This page explains that rule, the reason for it, and what the owner must disclose about the real funding of the site before launch. ## There are no operator affiliate links We do not use affiliate links to online money-game operators. We do not get paid for a reader click, account, deposit, play, or loss. We do not put such links in articles, tables, buttons, emails, or downloads. We also do not rank operators. We do not review them. We do not show bonus offers, codes, or app files. This is a rule, not a missing feature. See [About Cricketin](/about) and [the Editorial Policy](/editorial-policy) for the wider site rules. ## Why this rule exists Section 6 of the PROG Act bars an ad that directly or indirectly pushes a person to play an online money game. The rule covers online messages too. An affiliate link sends a reader to an operator. A ranked list, bonus table, or app button can do the same. We do not think a label such as “for info only” removes that push. Section 9(2) of the same text deals with a breach of section 6. ## Our money boundaries are clear **Table 1. What is certain is what an audit of the live code showed on 23 August 2026: no operator link, no affiliate redirect, no advertising script. ## Content is not for sale A source is used because it supports a claim. A result is used because the source and facts support it. A payer must not choose a title, source, result, rank, or link. We do not take a request from an operator to add its name or offer. A report of a real fact error is different. We check it through [the Corrections Policy and Log](/corrections). A written conflict rule — money links, gifts, family ties, work for a subject of a page — is not published yet. Nothing here pays anyone by conversion, because no operator link exists to convert on. ## Any other paid content must be clear If we later show a lawful non-operator ad or paid item, it must be easy to spot. The label must sit near the item and use plain words. Paid text must not look like an independent guide. The site runs no ads, no paid links, no sponsorship and no email programme. If any of that starts, it gets a label next to the item and a line on this page before it goes live. ## A law change will not lead to a hidden shift If a law changes, we will not quietly turn into an operator guide. First, we will check the official new text. Then, the owner must get legal advice on any proposed feature. Only then can this page and its rules change. A law change may affect one small part of a practice. It does not make all links, referrals, or payments safe. The owner must also check editorial rules, data rules, labels, and link controls. Who signs off a change to this policy is not published yet. ## Readers will see a major change A major change to site funding must be clear on this page. We will say what changed, when it changed, and what pages it affects. We will also add a note to the public corrections log. A major change includes a new funding source, a sponsor, a paid place, or a tracked link that pays the site. A small design change is not the same thing. A code, tracking term, or payment for a click can matter. We should have no operator link to inspect because it does not publish operator links. We audit the live code for exactly this. On 23 August 2026 the site carried no affiliate link, no redirect route, no tracking tag and no analytics tool, and the audit repeats after any major technical change. We use facts. We use plain words. We show our limits. We do not hide paid links. ## This note has limits This page explains a site rule. It is not legal, tax, money, or investment advice. It does not tell a reader whether an outside site is lawful or safe. The Act text is a key source. It does not replace a lawyer’s review of a real business model. No. We have no affiliate links to online money-game operators and no payment tied to a reader’s click, account, deposit, wager, or loss. ### Why not disclose an affiliate link instead of removing it? A note does not change the promotion risk. We do not publish the link, ranking, bonus, or download feature in the first place. ### What if the law changes? The site would first verify the official change and obtain trained legal advice. Any material rule change would be announced on this page and in the corrections log. ### Can a sponsor change an editorial conclusion?
